About this matter, we have taken the following steps to help us resolve the issue and prevent similar problems.
Now we know the issue that caused the problem:
1. We didn’t source the products from a trusted supplier.they have no any authorized proof for this product.
2. Our QC team didn’t check the package and didn’t pay more attention to the product’s authenticity, quality and all other aspect carefully.
3. We didn’t ship orders with a strong packing, also didn’t use a valid stable and fast shipping method to ship orders.
4. We lack of understanding of amazon’s policies. This policy create a good environment to regulate the behavior of the seller.
Steps we have taken to resolve the problem:
1. We deleted mentioned listings several and checked all remained inventory regularly. Make sure that the product accurately is described on Amazon and no ambiguity. Any listings with the possibilities of violations, we deleted them immediately. Ensured that all products we are selling are comply with Amazon policies.
2. We terminated the cooperation with original supplier and decided never cooperate with him again.
3. At the same time, We apologized and refunded buyers initiatively. We have contacted with all buyers and refunded any orders which with problem. For those un-received orders, we also make a full refund. We done our best in after-sales service.
4. We asked our QC team must guarantee all product need Full Test and numbers of test is 100% instead of sampling check. This ensures that the products produced by the supplier are consistent with the products we nee. Besides, we hire independent team is going to edit all the information of the product, before presenting the product information, they must contact the product and edit the same information on Amazon. Picture, package, description and title should be described objectively so that customer can clearly know what we’re selling, reduce unnecessary misunderstanding about products.
5. Shipped all the orders and provided tracking information after that, and contacted with every customer who bought products from our store, we sent after-sales-messages to them to know whether they have received their items on time before the estimated delivery date. We issued a refund at once or resent a new replacement with a valid tracking information by the fastest express company if customers said it haven’t arrived yet. If they got it and love it, I solicited positive feedback from them respectfully.
6. We reviewed the Amazon’s rules and regulations, in particular, access to the “Amazon Anti-Counterfeiting Policy” and “Policies and Agreements”, customers trust that they can always buy with confidence on Amazon. Therefore, products offered for sale on Amazon must be authentic and with authorization.
7. Gave training for salesmen; developer; procurement staff and management from the aspect of inauthentic and items without authorization. It is always a lesson that we need to learn and remember. Besides learning from Amazon, we know there are many forum introducing Amazon and many sellers make comments on how to improve sales and account health, also many sellers share their own experience on it, we can learn a lot from them such as avoid violations, ways to deal with customer service etc. If the selling privileges can be reinstated, we can search according to our own account situation to improve and to make it up.
2. Register a brand on Amazon is a trend since it can be more helpful to protect our own brand if we met some violations which hurt our business. And we find many sellers do that,then, they started to be professional on certain category to be the best on this field. This can not only shorten and clear own store, but also can provide customers with products as good as possible. We once have planned it as long as we can finish the registration process. And now, we decided to do it within the next years. And we will make a much more perfect plan before that.
3. Establish strict supplier selection principles. Customers bought products from us, we must be responsible to them, “the customer is our God”. Similarly, the supplier of goods is more of our customers responsible for the foundation, therefore, the supplier’s qualification must be rigorously screened, absolutely not allow the wrong product into our sales range. Vendors must be able to provide the relevant documents and certificates of the products they provide, which must be certified to be valid, such as trademarks, brand licenses, etc. We will only sign a contract with a qualified supplier.
4. Pay more attention on product quality check. Except for the samples from suppliers before purchasing, we also need to check product after every purchasing.
5. Strengthen product packaging. We will use hard box to replace the plastic mail bag for shipment. We will add more shockproof materials inside of the box to ensure the good product condition during the transportation. And we will search and cooperate a reliable logistic company who could offer a better service than the logistic company we cooperated before, make sure all of our packages have the effective tracking number to ensure that buyers can receive their orders in time and know where it is at any time.
6. Ensure that all of our goods were received in good condition, we will offer more items with high quality to be Fulfilled by Amazon to provide the best service to customers immediately, as we all know, FBA is the fastest and the most effective shipping service all over the world, we are preparing some high quality products now, and sincerely looking forward to cooperating wit.
